Fascinated by the challenge of replicating digital hues on canvas, she uses fluorescent acrylics and oils to translate the saturation and luminosity of digital colour into paint. Distorted human figures are a recurring theme in her work, through which she explores the tension between dreams and nightmares.

Lavezzari earned a degree in Architecture from Universidad de Palermo in 2016. Before fully dedicating herself to painting, she spent a decade working in 3D design, digital post-production, and graphic design. During this period she became obsessed with translating the physical world into hyperreal, human-centred virtual environments designed to feel indistinguishable from reality. Her painting practice reverses that impulse: she brings the artificial qualities of the digital world into the physical realm, using hypersaturated colours, impossible figures, and videogame-inspired aesthetics to create paintings that feel vivid and unreal, yet deeply human.

Her creative process merges digital and traditional techniques. She photographs or generates subjects using AI, collages, recolours and distorts them digitally, and then reinterprets them on canvas.
